BIOGRAPHY
SIMONE ZANCHINI
Considered one of the most interesting and innovative accordion players on the international scene, his quest takes him to the limit of contemporary, acoustic and electronic sound experiment, and more other contaminations mixed together, super-refined influences issuing in a an absolutely personal approach for improvisation.
He received an honours diploma in the classical accordion from the Conservatory “G.Rossini” of Pesaro. He is an eclectic artist, whose concert activity involves groups of from various fields of music (improvisation, contemporary music, jazz, classical music).
He has performed at the most important international festivals: Clusone Jazz, Umbria Jazz, Tivoli Jazz, Berchidda Jazz, Sant’Anna Arresi, Barga Jazz, Mara Jazz, Vignola Jazz, Ravenna Festival, Rossini opera Festival , Teggiano Jazz etc. and in a lot of important international festivals in France, Austria, Germany, England, Holland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonian, Spain, England, Tunisia, Lebanese, India, Russian and Japan.
He can boast collaborations with many musicians of international fame: Thomas Clausen, Gianluigi Trovesi, Javier Girotto, Paolo Fresu, Marco Tamburini, Massimo Manzi, Bruno Tommaso, Ettore Fioravanti, Mario Marzi, Michele Rabbia, Giovanni Maier,Tamara Obrovac, Krunoslav Levacic, Vasko Atanasovski, Antonello Salis, Han Bennink, Art Van Damme, Jasper Soffers, Adam Nussbaum.
Since 1999 Simone is the first accordion player in the “Ensemble Strumentale Scaligero” of La Scala Theatre in Milano, with this group he plays tours everywhere in the world.
Recently he published two new CDs called: Fuga per Art and Better Alone. In Fuga per Art , Simone revisits, in personal style, two of the most important living accordion players: Art Van Damme and Frank Marocco, respecting always that characteristic sound created using accordion and vibraphone together, following a kind of jazz-language usually not much played with this instrument above all in Europe.
Currently He has two new projects which include his passion for contemporary music: Simone Zanchini Quartet: Entropia (D. Caliri, G.Maier, M. Rabbia, S.Zanchini) and Elettrotico Trio ( A.Alessi, C. Calcagnile, S.Zanchini).
ANDREA DULBECCO
He graduated with honours in percussion instruments under the direction of Franco Campioni at the "Giuseppe Verdi" Conservatoire of Milan, where he also studied composition and graduated in piano. He specialised in vibraphone with David Friedman.
He has performed as soloist with the Angelicum Orchestra of Milan, the Orchestra of the Conservatoire of Graz, the Milan Orchestra of RAI (Italian National Broadcasting Company), the Symphony Orchestra of Sanremo and O.D.A.I.(Italian String Orchestra).
He has also performed with some of the leading Italian ensembles of chamber music such as La Società del Quartetto and La Società dei Concerti of Milan, Unione Musicale of Turin, Santa Cecilia Academy, Amici della Musica of Perugia, Accademia Chigiana and others, cooperating with top artists as A. Ugorski, M. Brunello, A. Lucchesini, P. De Maria, E. Fisk, G. Carmignola.
Along with his career in classical music he is an extremely active jazz vibraphonist. He has played and recorded with internationally known artists as, among others, P. Fresu, E. Rava, F. Dicastri, M. Negri, G. Gaslini,D. Moroni, L. Schneider, P. Favre, D. Friedman, P. McCandless, B. Elgart, Reggie Johnson, Alvin Quinn. He has toured the United States, Mexico, Africa and the Far East.
Splash and Egea are two of the labels that have published some of his recordings.
Presently, he is a resident teacher of percussion instruments at the Conservatoire of Milan.
STEFANO SENNI
He started to study doublebass and jazz music in 1992, he has attended Civic Course of Jazz in Milan and he graduated with M° Giorgio Azzolini. Actually he teachs jazz doublebass at Rovigo's Conservatory.

GIANCARLO BIANCHETTI
He studied classic guitar at Ferrara's Conservatory “G.Frescobaldi” with M° L. De Angelis with whiche he graduated in 1994, at the same time he studied jazz guitar and functional harmony with M° Antonio Cavicchi.
He has played at most important Jazz Festivals In Italy and abroad. In 1995 he took part of group that accompanies songwriter Vinicio Capossela and he has played with him until 2004 stabily. With Capossela he partecipated to the recording of some discs such as Il Ballo di San Vito, Live in Volvo, Canzoni a manovella.
MASSIMO MANZI
He is considered since long time one of the best italian jazz drummer.
